Creepy, in a good way. How did you do the red background?

I used the fluffy watercolor brush in many different colors to make the texture and then played around with the tone curve filter multiple times, went crazy on the curves for the grain and then turned it red.

Human or not I still think she (or it?) is very pretty. Love the dark shading, fits well
