Creepy, in a good way. How did you do the red background?

I used the fluffy watercolor brush in many different colors to make the texture and then played around with the tone curve filter multiple times, went crazy on the curves for the grain and then turned it red.

My first character was a halfling too! But my dm didn't really check my character sheet until it was too late and realized "bumpkin" was lightfooted & stout. We went along with it anyway
